Angileah Marie Staat

Angileah Marie Staat, 22, of  Cleves, OH, passed away at 4:53 PM, Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Angileah was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on March 4, 1997, a daughter of Angie (Dunaway) Staat, of Aurora, IN and Chad Staat, of Brookville, IN. She was a graduate of Switzerland County High School, Class of 2015. Angileah worked as a server at O'Charley's Restaurant in Harrison, OH. Angileah loved the beach and being in the water. She also enjoyed playing horseshoes and softball. Angileah additionally liked riding motorcycles and going to drag races with her dad.  Angileah is survived by her mother, Angie (Dunaway) Staat, of Aurora, IN; by her father and stepmother, Chad & Julie Staat, of Brookville, IN; by her sister, Caitlyn Staat, of Patriot, IN; by stepsister, Logan Smith, of Sunman, IN; by her maternal grandmother, Leah Devers, of Patriot, IN; by her paternal grandfather, Clarence Staat and wife Pam, of Batesville, IN; by her paternal grandmother, Nancy Daddio and husband Ernie, of Fairfield, OH; by step grandparents, Jim & Jane Link, of Sunman, IN; by her aunt, Karen Staples, of Sunman, IN; by uncles, Steve Dunaway, of Rising Sun, IN, Jeff Staat (Lisa), of Brookville, IN and Lance Staat, of Sunman, IN; by her cousins, Bo & Alex Staat, Jeremy Staples, Bob Whitham and Joe & Corey Dunaway. Angileah is also survived by the love of her life, Justin Burris, of Cleves, OH and by his son Carson , whom she loved like her own. Angileah was preceded in death by her grandfather, Austin R. Dunaway.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Saturday, August 24th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 11 AM - 1 PM at Markland Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, Rising Sun American Legion or charity of donor's choice.
