Audrey Caroline (Emery) Weaver

Audrey Caroline Weaver, 82, of Patriot, IN, passed away at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at The Waters of Rising Sun. Audrey was born in Switzerland County, IN on November 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (James) and Shelton Emery, Sr. On March 3, 1954 in Peoria, IL she married John Henry Weaver II who passed away on October 4, 1997. Audrey loved to go fishing but didn't like getting in the water. She also enjoyed gardening and raised beautiful flowers and the best tasting vegetables. Audrey devoted her life to her family.
Audrey is  survived by five daughters: Cleveta Utter, of Corinth, KY; Regina Brooks, of Rising Sun, IN; Cindy Turpin, of Georgetown, KY; Eve Weaver, of Raton, NM and Tammy Weaver, of Monroe, WI; by six sons: Donald Cunningham, of Vevay, IN; John Henry Weaver, of TX; Willie Weaver, of Aurora, IN; JD Weaver, of Lawrenceburg, IN; George Weaver, of Covington, KY and Adam Weaver, of Crittenden, KY; by 42 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren and by her loving companion of 15 years Robert Lester, of Patriot, IN. Audrey is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents , by her husband, John Henry Weaver, by sons, Gordon Weaver and Jimmy Weaver, by daughter Katherine Robinson  and by brothers, Shelton, Jr., Russell, RoyLee, Lucian, Raymond and Leonard Emery.
 
Graveside services will be at 12 PM, Saturday, July 27th at Cedar Hedge Cemetery in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be Saturday 11AM-12PM at Markland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expense. marklandfuneralhome.com
