Donald Lee West

Donald Lee West, 72, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 6:30 AM, Thursday, March 14th, 2019 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Donald was born in Cincinnati, OH on May 22, 1946, a son of the late Amelia (Pahls) and Boyd L.West. Donald grew up in the Cincinnati community and was a graduate of Colerain High School. He worked over 23 years at Procter and Gamble where he fulfilled many duties. Donald proudly served his country in the US Air Force and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Donald loved horses and enjoyed riding as much as he could. On June 6, 1981, Donald married Janice (Spaeth) West who survives him, Donald and Janice were married nearly 38 years until his passing.

In addition to his loving wife Janice, Donald is also survived by two brothers, James Lee West and wife  JoAnn, of Dillsboro, IN and  Gary Lee West and wife Margaret, of Trenton, OH; by a niece,  Sandy West; by nephews, Christopher Page and wife Rebecca and Jason Page and wife Kristin. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Boyd Lee West, Jr.
