Doris Sebree Richardson

Doris Sebree Richardson, 87, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 11:18 PM, Thursday, March 28th, at the home of her daughter in East Enterprise, IN. Doris was born in Switzerland County, IN on November 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Margaret  (Hutchinson) and James A. Boggs. She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1949. Doris married  John Albert "Ab" Sebree in 1949 and to this union 8 children were born; Sharon, Judith, James, Vickie, Steve, Roger, John and Tabitha. Doris and Ab were married 49 years until his passing in 1998. In 2000 Doris was married to Virgil Richardson, who passed away in 2007.  Doris was a member of Aberdeen United Methodist Church. Doris loved to play cards, especially Rook and Euchre. Doris is  survived by three daughters, Judith Brown, of Bright, IN; Vickie Chandler, of East Enterprise, IN and Tabitha Sebree, of Vevay, IN; by three sons, Steve Sebree, of Moorefield, IN; Roger Sebree (Karen), of Rising Sun, IN and John Sebree, of Vevay, IN;  by 24 grandchildren, 104 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Doris is also survived by a sister, Clara Rodgers (Paul), of Aberdeen, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her 1st husband John Albert Sebree, and by 2nd husband Virgil Richardson, by a son, James A. Sebree in 1994, by a daughter, Sharon S. Dunn in 2005, by a brother, Robert Boggs, by sisters, Arietta Caseltine, Rose & Ida Boggs, Patsy Evans, Carolyn Huffard, Betty Grace and Sandra Edwards, by a grandson, Adam Chapman in 2017 and by a great grandson, Wyatt Sebree in 2016. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, April 1st at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be Monday 11 AM - 1 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt.
