Emma Jean (Henderson) Gregory

Emma "Jean" Gregory, 70, of Aurora, IN, passed away at 2:04 PM, Wednesday, July 25th, at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, IN. Jean was born in Ripley County, IN on February 18, 1948, a daughter of the late Viola (Jones) Webster and Walter  Henderson. Jean married  Wendell Leroy "Buddy" Gregory who preceded her in death on July 19th, 2005.  She worked as a secretary for 20 years at the Plastic Molding Factory in  East Enterprise, IN.  She also had worked for Aurora Casket Company and the Grand Victoria Casino. Jean loved to go to the casino and play the slots. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She always took pleassure in camping with her husband of 35 years "Buddy". Jean was also a great cook ,with her fried chicken and vegetable soup being her specialties but spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
 
Jean is  survived by two sons, Wendell "Windy" Gregory( Trisha), of Milan, IN and Clint Gregory(Sally) of Aurora, IN and by six grandchildren, Jessica Gregory, Jamie Wingate (Brandon), Caleb Gregory, Liam Kernan, Tristan Gregory & Briley Gregory and by several great grandchildren; by her significant other, Grant "Wesley" Brummett and his son, Richard Earl Brummett. She is also survived by two sisters, Jackie Hoberg (Daryl) of Pennsicola, FL and Toni Thomas (David) of Albertville, AL. 

Funeral services will  be held at 2 PM, Monday, July 30th at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Brother Don Thomason officiating. Friends are invited to call Monday 12-2 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gregory family.
