Harold White Obituary

Harold White, 103, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at The Waters of Rising Sun. Harold was born in Taylor County, KY on April 10, 1916, a son of the late Villa (Jones) and Russell  White. Harold was a farmer in Kentucky for 37 years before moving to Indiana in 1953. He was the caretaker for Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN for 14 years until retiring in 1975. Harold also operated a Dixon Mower dealership for 13 years. Harold married Louise (VanDyke) White on July 17, 1937. Harold and Louise were married nearly 75 years until her passing in 2012. Harold is  survived by four daughters, Margaret Murray, of Rising Sun, IN; Elizabeth Zerkle, of Rising Sun, IN; Peggy Cutter, of Riverview, FL and Denise Southgate, of Lexington, KY; by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Harold is also survived by two sisters, Frances Montgomery, of FL and Fay Muncie, of KY.
 
Graveside services will be 1 PM, Monday, September 9th at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN with Pastor Patrick Bujak officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Grants Creek Baptist Church. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family. marklandfuneralhome.com
