Janet Kay (Smith) Davis

Janet Kay Davis, 56,  Aurora, IN, passed away at 8:11 PM, Monday, July 23rd, at her residence.  Janet was born in Terre Haute, IN on January 25, 1962, a daughter of the late Verna Gail (Webb) and Robert Elmer Smith. She was a graduate of South Dearborn High School, Class of 1980. She worked as a machine operator at SKF in Hebron, KY and had been there for over 20 years. Janet was a member of the Aurora Eagles Auxilary and was a past president. She also attended St. John's Lutheran Church . On May 16, 1985  Janet married Jerry A. Davis who preceded her in death on September 13, 2012.

Janet is  survived by a sister, Briget Smith-Yu (Luke)  of Ohio Co., IN., by three brothers, David Smith, of Aurora, IN, Joey Smith (Stephanie) of Williamsburg, TN and Dustin Smith, of Aurora, IN and by many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, July 27th at the River View Cemetery in Aurora, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Cards are available at the funeral home. marklandfuneralhome.com
