Jean (Fisk) Jackson

Madonna Jean Jackson, 96, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019. Jean was born in Aurora, IN on September 23, 1923, a daughter of the late Rebecca (Keith) and Mahlon  Fisk. She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1941. On August 30, 1941, Jean married Arthur Thomas Jackson who passed away on October 10, 1988. Jean worked as a sales clerk at the G. C. Murphy Co. in Aurora, IN for 32 years. She attended the Rising Sun Church of Christ. Jean loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed reading and cross stitching. 

Jean is  survived by two sons; Tommy Lee Jackson and wife Diane, of Liberty Twp., OH and Michael Lynn Jackson, of Rising Sun, IN.  She is also survived by grandchildren: Todd Jackson & Thomas Andrew Jackson, by great grandchildren: Erica Wormus, Taylor Faulkner, Kristen Tallon & Kara Wilson, and by great great grandchildren; Jaxson Faulkner, Xavier Tallon,  Kailynn Wilson & Liam Wilson. Jean was preceded in death by her parents , by her husband, Arthur Thomas,  by a brother, Billy Bob Fisk, and by sisters,  Betty Jane Gossom & Janet Lawless.
 
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Thursday, October 31st at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN with Eldon Fancher officiating.
