Lauren Marie Rose

Lauren Marie Rose, 19, of East Enterprise, IN, passed away at 1:28 AM, Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, IN. Lauren was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 7, 1999, a daughter of Shonda Sue (Duvall) and Anthony "Tony" Rose, of East Enterprise, IN. She was a recent graduate of Switzerland County High School, Class of 2018. Even though school wasn't always her favorite thing, she loved her classmates and teachers. Lauren also attended vocational school where she received training as a certified nursing assistant. Lauren was also a former 4-H member. She was planning on attending Ivy Tech this fall and pursue a career in nursing. Lauren was a people person, always bubbly and a smile on her face. Her personality helped her excel at her job as a CNA at The Waters of Dillsboro where she truly enjoyed taking care of patients.  Lauren was baptized at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Milan, IN in April of 2010. Lauren is survived by her parents, Tony and Shonda Rose of East Enterprise, IN; by 2 sisters, Chelsea Duvall (Klint Kirkpatrick) of Rising Sun, IN and Kristen Rose (Quentin Wright) of Rising Sun, IN; by her beloved niece, Brinley Wright; by grandparents: Sheree and Lane Armstrong of Patriot, IN; Sharon (Slack) Collins of Rising Sun, IN; Larry Rose of Vevay, IN and Steve and Judy Duvall of Austin, TX; by great grandparents: Naomi "Scottie" Allen of Rising Sun, IN; Mareta Rose of Vevay, IN and Jack and Joan Armstrong of Patriot, IN; by uncles, Jeremy Armstrong of Shelbyville, IN and Barry Gray (Jodi) of Hanover, IN; by an aunt, Angel Gray of Madison, IN; by great aunts, Diane Acosta and Carole Powell, both of Rising Sun, IN; by a great uncle, Steve Allen (Janet) of Madison, IN; by great aunts and uncles, Rick & Jill Bradley, Pete & Vicki Young, Terry & Edie Slack, Rick & Donna Slack and Terry & Evelyn Rose; by her foster brothers, Dylan George and Dawson Anderson, both of East Enterprise, IN; by her special friend, Isaiah Earles and by friends like sisters, Teryn Hinman, Mattea Edwards and Bailey Jackson. She is also survived by many other family members and friends who were all so special to her. Lauren was preceded in death by great grandparents; Merle Allen Jr., Sammy Rose, Cora and Forrest Duvall and Harry and Norma Slack. 

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, October 1st at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Corey Potts officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 4-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Vevay Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family or charity of choice. Cards are available at the funeral home.
