Sharon Ann (Detmer) Keith

Sharon Ann (Detmer) Keith, 72, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away at 1:50 AM, Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg. Sharon was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 27, 1947, a daughter of the late Dorothy Mae (Teke) and Alvin  Detmer. She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1965. Sharon had worked as a Hair Dresser at McAlpins in Crestview Hills , KY. Sharon also worked at DHL as Coordinator of Lost and Found. She married Dale Miller Keith on August 28th, 1965 at the First United Church of Christ in Rising Sun, IN. Sharon and Dale were married over 53 years until her passing. Sharon formerly attended the Hebron Church of Christ. She was a Cincinnati Bengals and UK fan. She also enjoyed flower arranging. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Dale Keith, of Lawrenceburg, IN; by two daughters, Kris Keith (Shelley Norris), of Fairborn, OH and Shelley Silcox (Ryan), of Burlington, KY; by a son, Brian Keith (Jodi), of Rising Sun, IN;  by grandchildren: Amanda Wilson, Colton Willoughby, Kristina Willoughby, Kaili Keith-Norris, Jazmin Keith-Norris, Jonah Keith-Norris & Brooke Townsend and by great grandchildren; Carson Willoughby, Jaxson Wilson & Trey Wilson; by a sister, Marcia Zerkle (Gary), of Ft. Wayne, IN; by a brother, Dennis Detmer (Mary Ann), of Lawrenceburg, IN; and by sister-in-law Trudy Warren (Tom) of Rising Sun, IN.
 
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, March 7th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Seven Hills Church 7300 Turfway Rd. Florence, KY 41042.
