Terry Edward Gray

Terry Edward Gray, 61, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 3:30 PM, Monday, April 22nd, 2019 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, IN. Terry was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 18, 1958, a son of the late Geneva Satterfield. Terry was raised by his grandparents, Pete and Annie Satterfield and was a graduate of Norwood High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for nearly 15 years, achieving the rank of SSG. While in service, Terry was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Lapel Button, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon w/numeral 2, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal and Expert Marksmanship. He was a former member of the Sunman American Legion. Terry enjoyed fishing in his spare time. On December 26, 1981, Terry married Pamela (Belew) Gray, who survives him. Terry and Pam were married over 37 years until his passing. In addition to his wife Pam, Terry is  survived by a son, Terry E. Gray, Jr. and wife Jamee, of Rising Sun, IN; by step grandson, Brandon Chase; by two sisters, Vickie Powers, of Waynesburg, KY and Janie Phillips, of Cincinnati, OH; by two brothers, Todd Young, of Cincinnati, OH and Shane Satterfield, of Cincinnati, OH. 

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Sunday, April 28th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be Sunday 2-3 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Military honors conducted by the Rising Sun American Legion Color Guard will follow the service. marklandfuneralhome.com
