William Edward Howard, Jr.

William Edward "Bill" Howard, Jr., 71, of  Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 9:47 AM, Friday, May 17th, 2019 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. William was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 30, 1947, a son of the late Katherian (Quebman) and William Edward Howard, Sr. He attended Charles T. Young Elementary School in Cleves, OH and was a 1966 graduate of Taylor High School. It was in grade school where he met the love of his life, Patricia Eldridge. Bill and Pat were married on December 10th,  1966 in Addyston, OH. They were married over 52 years until his passing. They were partners on the adventure of life. Bill was a distributor for Little Debbie Snack Cakes and formerly worked for Keebler. Bill loved to cook, he and Pat operated several restaurants over the years, including Topper's Pizza and Cheezy's Pizza in Rising Sun. Bill loved life and his family. Bill is  survived by his wife, Patricia Howard, of Rising Sun, IN; by three daughters, Cynthia Blanton (Anthony), of Brookville, IN, Teresa Mitchell (Mike), of Versailles, IN and Patricia  Abbott (Danny), of Rising Sun, IN; by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; by three brothers, Bruce Howard (Sherrie), of Rising Sun, IN; Don Howard (Betty), of Bright, IN and Greg Howard, of Rising Sun, IN. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pamela Vaden.
 
Funeral services will be at 6 PM, Friday, May 24th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Rev. Rex Hensley officiating. Friends are invited to call Friday 5-6 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. marklandfuneralhome.com
