Alberta Ann (Drew) Brameier

Alberta Ann Brameier, 73, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 21st, 2019 at The Waters of Rising Sun. Alberta was born in Dearborn County, IN on February 4, 1946, a daughter of the late Ella Gertrude Browning and Charles  Drew. She attended school in Manchester, IN. Alberta worked in food service most of her life. She was a well known face in Rising Sun where she managed the Dairy Queen for 16 years. Alberta enjoyed going to Rising Star Casino and was a huge George Jones fan. She was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and friend to many. Alberta is  survived by two daughters, Jackie Drew Anderson, of Lawrenceburg, IN and Sherri Drew McCracken (Kevin), of Rising Sun, IN; by a son, David Drew, of Rising Sun, IN; by grandchildren: Atlanta Young, Dylan Drew, Tristin Anderson, Gunnar Anderson, Hope Drew, Faith Drew & Bryson McCracken and by great grandchildren: Hunter, Easton, Elilah & Devon; by two sisters, Kissy Steelman, of Lawrenceburg, IN and Kay  Edwards-Hansen, of Rising Sun, IN;  by four brothers, Charles Drew, of Rising Sun, IN; Roger Drew, of Aurora, IN; Delbert Drew, of Aurora, IN and Jim  Drew, of Versailles, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a brother, Donald Drew, by sisters, Jeane Lovelace, Maxine McKinney & Sally Riffel and by a granddaughter, Irelyn McCracken. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, November 26th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Corey Potts officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 10 AM - 1 PM at Markland Funeral Home.
