Ben Walter Fryer

Ben Walter Fryer, 70, of Patriot, IN, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at his residence. Ben was born in Ohio on March 5, 1953, a son of the late Mary Theresa (Snedaker) and Ben Harrison Fryer. Ben was raised in Bright, IN growing up. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed tinkering and always had a project he was working on.

Ben is survived by sons Harold Fryer (Jennifer Frankl) of Patriot, IN, Ben Fryer Jr. (Vickie) of Patriot, IN, and John Fryer of Tennessee; brother Mike Fryer (Debbie) of Greendale, IN; sisters Jenny Smith (Ron) of Ohio and Kathy Murray (James) of Moores Hill, IN, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Butch Fryer and sisters Mary Rose, Janice Fryer, and April Fryer.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM, Friday April 7th at the Markland Funeral Home. Funeral will be 1 PM, Friday April 7th at the Markland Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN.
