Bonnie Lee (Dumond) Henry

Bonnie Lee Henry, 69, of Patriot, IN, (formerly of Erlanger, KY) passed away on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at her home. Bonnie was born in Unionville, NY on August 26, 1956, a daughter of the late Shirley (Muller) VanLeuven and Vincent  Dumond. Bonnie grew up and resided in New York state until 2010 when she moved to the Florence, KY area. She was a graduate from Minisink Valley High School  in Greenville, NY. She went on to obtain her nursing degree from Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY. Bonnie worked as a RN at Milford Senior Care. She formerly attended the Grace Fellowship Church in Port Jervis, NY. Bonnie enjoyed doing craft work in her spare time.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Frank Grant Birtch, Sr. and wife Lisa, of Patriot, IN; by her grandchildren, Frank G. Birtch, Jr. and Lillian Birtch, of Patriot, IN; by her brother, Edwin VanLeuven and wife Mary, of Matamoras, PA; by her sisters, Robin Beach, of Montague, NJ and Jean Mulkowsky, of Accord, NY and by many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded by her mother and stepfather who raised her, Shirley & Vivan VanLeuven; by her father, Vincent Dumond and by her sister, Ann Barth.

A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at a later date. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
