Brandon James Foutty

Brandon James Foutty, 34, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn, Lawrenceburg, IN. Brandon was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 14, 1987, a son of Deborah "Debbie" Kraisinger and James "Jim" Foutty. He was a graduate of the South Dearborn High School Class of 2005 and was employed at North American Stainless. On May 15, 2015, he was married to Lauren Philpot. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Above all, he was a devoted father. 

Brandon is survived by wife Lauren Foutty of Rising Sun, IN; son Caden Foutty of Rising Sun, IN; stepdaughter Aliyah Bailey of Rising Sun, IN; father James "Jim" Foutty and stepmother Angela of Carrollton, KY; mother Deborah "Debbie" Kraisinger and stepfather Stuart of Aurora, IN; brothers Jason Foutty and wife Hillary of Aurora, IN, Jeremy Foutty and wife Mandee of Independence, KY, and Corey Foutty of Aurora, IN; half sister Tracy Stutzman of Vevay, IN; stepsisters Alicia Puckett of Vevay, IN, Chasity Haynes and husband James of  Vevay, IN, Mariah Clark and husband Andrew of Bennington, IN, Meghan Harper and husband Mike of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Molly Kraisinger of Nashville, TN; grandparents Mary Foutty of Rising Sun, Shirley England of Aurora, IN (formerly of Rising Sun, IN), and Sherida England of Okena, OH.  Brandon was preceded in death by grandparents James Foutty and John England.

A public visitation will be held Monday, August 30 from 5 - 8 PM at the Markland Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday August 31 at 11 AM with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, checks made payable to Lauren Foutty.
