Carole Elizabeth Madison, 72, of East Enterprise, IN, passed away on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at St.Elizabeth-Dearborn in Lawrenceburg, IN. Carole was born in Batesville, IN on January 23, 1949, a daughter of Margaret (Kinnett) Banschbach and John Banschbach, of Rising Sun, IN. She was a 1967 graduate of Rising Sun High School. She was the wife of Bill Madison. Carole and Bill were married on January 1, 1977 at the East Enterprise Methodist Church by Arnold Cutter. Carole and Bill were married 44 years until her passing. She worked several years for Chevron Asphalt in Ohio and formerly worked at Rieman's Grocery in East Enterprise. Carole was a member of the Bennington United Methodist Church. She had a great affection for rabbits and raised hundreds over the years. Carole enjoyed riding the motorcycle and traveling with her husband Bill. Carole also had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Carole was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Carole is survived by her devoted husband, Bill Madison, of East Enterprise, IN; by her parents, John & Margaret Banschbach, of Rising Sun, IN; by 5 brothers: John Michael Banschbach (Kathleen Felt), of Mankato, MN, Jeff Banschbach, of KY, Rick Banschbach (Kim), Rising Sun, IN, Greg Banschbach (Pam), of Rising Sun, IN and Fred Banschbach (Jennifer), of Glencoe, KY; by 3 sisters: Deborah Jackson, of Las Vegas, NV, Diane Christian (Steve), of Lebanon, IN and Milissa Wallace (Jim), of Rising Sun, IN. Carole is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Tim Madison and by a brother-in-law, Eric Jackson.
