Carolyn Jean Richardson, 78, of Spencer IN, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023.  Carolyn was born in Ripley County, IN on July 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Robert and Belva (Greene) Rector.  Carolyn married James Richardson on August 4th, 1978.  They were married almost 42 years before James passing in 2020.

Carolyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also loved tending to her flowers and doing her word search puzzles.  Carolyn was the owner of Carolyn’s Daycare from 1984 until she retired in 2001.

Carolyn is survived by her son, William (Lisa) Kraemer, daughter Danielle (David) Titkemeyer; grandchildren Matthew (Brittany) Kraemer, Bryan Kraemer, Ethan Titkemeyer and Elaina Titkemeyer; great grandchildren; Aubree Kraemer, Kylee Kraemer, and Addison Kraemer and brother Albert (Phyllis) Rector and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James, daughter Pamela Kraemer, brother William Rector; sisters, Shirley Rector and Charlene Rector.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Greendale Cemetery in Greendale, IN with Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family. marklandfuneralhome.com
