Charles Wayne Redding

Charles Wayne Redding, 42, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away August 1, 2024 in Cincinnati, OH. Charlie was born on November 4, 1981, a son of Phoebe and Vernon Swango. Charlie attended school at Delta High School, Delaware County, IN. He worked in construction laying flooring. Charlie was a big family man and found his greatest joy in spending time with his fiancée, children, and other family members.

Charlie is survived by his parents, Phoebe and Vernon Swango of Switzerland County, IN; fiancée Dina Daugherty of Lawrenceburg, IN; sons James Redding and Leon Redding; stepchildren Abigail Redding and Tyler Redding; brother Jerry Redding of Versailles, IN; step brothers James Swango and Vernon Swango Jr. of KY; as well as his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Markland Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7th, from 11 AM – 1 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
