Connie Sue (Ray) Courter

Connie Sue Courter, 75, of Versailles, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at her home. Connie was born in Milan, IN on July 1, 1951, a daughter of the late Mildred (Cutter) Ray and Perry  Ray. Connie took pleasure in taking care of others and worked in the home health profession for several years. She also formerly worked for Comfort Inn Hotels and Amazon. Connie enjoyed doing puzzles in her spare time. She also liked watching old movies and loved listening to her old records. She loved old country performers, especially Loretta Lynn. Connie loved her kids and grandkids more than life itself and enjoyed spoiling them with gifts.

Connie is survived by two sons, Jody Cuneo, of Osgood, IN and Gary Miller (Amanda), of Aurora, IN; by her beloved grandchildren: Nevaeh, Wyatt, Lola, Memphis, Kyrah, Gemma, Tristian, Aubrey and Julian. Connie is also survived by a sister, Theresa O'Neal (Tony), of Dillsboro, IN. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Perry & Mildred Ray; by her son, Chris Cuneo; by her brother, Lewis "Butch" Ray and by her sisters, Judy White, Betty Winslow and Patty Emery.
 
Public Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 31st at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. No formal funeral service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
