Donald Eugene Henderson

Donald Eugene Henderson, 57, of Madison, IN, passed away February 21, 2024 at Norton Kings Daughters Hospital Madison, IN. Donald was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on February 26, 1966, a son of the late Helen Louise (James) and Willie B. Henderson. He was affectionately nicknamed “Farmer” by his family. Donald completed his high school degree through Madison Consolidated Schools and went on to obtain further life skills through Sandstone Industries. Donald enjoyed tinkering, putting together model cars, playing guitar, listening to music, and being around family. He also greatly enjoyed participating in various church services in his local community or offered in the nursing homes.  

Donald is survived by brothers Denver Henderson (Christina) of Independence, KY, Carl Henderson of Patriot, IN, Darrell “Buckwheat” Henderson of Richmond, IN, Robert Henderson of Patriot, IN, and Ronald Henderson of Patriot, IN; sisters Sue Cunningham (Clinton) of Florence, IN; Roseann Owens (Robert) of Patriot, IN, and Wilma Ollman (John) of Florence, IN; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by sister Anna Henderson on September 11, 2019. 

Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Markland Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1 PM with burial to follow at Cedar Hedge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
