Donna Zigelmier

Donna Zigelmier, 51, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away on March 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with endometrial cancer. She was diagnosed in November and fought bravely and determinedly until the very end.

Donna was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her father, Ron Zigelmier; her stepmother, Bobbi Zigelmier; her brother, Nick Zigelmier; and her sister, Angel Howlett and brother-in-law, Ben Howlett. She was a loving aunt to her nephews, Noah and Zachary Howlett, who brought her great joy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Zigelmier.

Donna was a private person who valued her personal life, but those closest to her knew the depth of her love and loyalty. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dogs, Bash, Jax, and Roxy, reading a good book, taking road trips, and gathering with family for game nights filled with laughter and connection. She especially cherished time with her family and the memories made on their many adventures together. Donna will be remembered for her strength and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

It was Donna's wish that no public services be held.
