Elaine Sue (Fish) Shannon

Elaine Sue Shannon, 63, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2020 at her residence. Sue was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 20, 1956, a daughter of Alberta (Emery) Fish, of Rising Sun, IN and the late Guy Robert Fish. She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1974. Sue worked in the Interior Department at Aurora Casket Company for 22 years. Sue married Robert F. Shannon, Jr. on January 1, 1989 in Greendale, IN. Sue and Bob were married over 31 years until her passing. When they lived in the country, Sue enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and riding their UTV. Sue is survived by her husband, Robert F. Shannon, Jr., of Rising Sun, IN; by a son, Jeremy Fisk, of Patriot, IN; by granddaughter, Aaliyah Fisk, of Rising Sun, IN; by her mother, Alberta Fish, of Rising Sun, IN; by two sisters, Karen Lewis (Todd Zerkle), of Rising Sun, IN and Tina Berkley, of Vevay, IN; by four brothers, Guy Fish (Lois), of Rising Sun, IN; Michael Fish (Stella), of Rising Sun, IN; Jeffery Fish, of Rising Sun, IN and Brian Fish (Connie), of North Vernon, IN; and by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.   

A private family service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 25th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. marklandfuneralhome.com
