Faith A. Wood

Faith A. Wood, 52, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Faith was born in Fort Thomas, KY on June 26, 1970, a daughter of the late Ethleen Carol (Traylor) Wood and Donald Wood of Rising Sun, IN. She was a graduate of Newport High School. Faith devoted her life to the care of others. She began helping Gary and Peggy Bross and became part of their family. Peggy battled MS for several years and Faith was her caregiver for over 27 years until Peggy's passing in 2022. Faith also worked at Duke Energy in Ohio for over 30 years. Faith enjoyed the outdoors and going on camping trips. She like playing bingo and going to the local riverboats. Faith also had a great affection and love for animals, especially her little buddies, Jake and Josie.

Faith is survived by her father, Donald Wood, of Rising Sun, IN; by her sister, Donna Cullum and husband Bernard, of Bethel, OH; by Gary Bross, of Rising Sun, IN; by nephews, Randall Iles, Darren Iles, Steven Iles, Dylan Cullum, Tyler Cullum and Cameron Cullum; by nieces, Donelle Cullum, Catherine Cullum and Lauren Dodd; by great nephews; Jordan Iles, Jacob Iles and Bently Dodd; by great nieces, Bella Cullum and Baleigh Cullum.
 

Public visitation  will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Family graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 9th at the Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. marklandfuneralhome.com
