Gloria Jean Knigga

Gloria Jean Knigga, 76, of Bear Branch, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 6th, 2023 at Shady Nook Care Center in Lawrenceburg, IN. Gloria was born in Batesville, IN on December 10, 1946. At an early age Gloria was welcomed into the home of Ruth and Archie "Dutch" Kinnett, who raised her as their own. She attended Rising Sun High School. Gloria married Carrol Dean Knigga on June 9, 1964 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bear Branch, IN. They were married over  59 years until her passing. Gloria was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Gloria enjoyed spending her time gardening and working outside. Time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren is what she cherished most.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Carrol Dean Knigga, of Bear Branch, IN; by her son, Brian Knigga, of Bear Branch, IN; by her daughter, Kimberly Hess and fiance Damion White, of Seymour, IN; by grandchildren: Sheena Graham and husband Brian, Joshua Knigga, Marissa Hess and wife Madison Smith, Jacob Hess and Kamryn Hess; by great grandchildren: Annabelle Keaney, Deano Knigga, Jackson Graham, Grayson Graham, Matthias Smith and Olivia Smith. Gloria is also survived by a sister, Florence "Cookie" Marsee, of Madison, IN. Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Knigga on September 3, 2022.
