Harry Edwin McMurray

Harry Edwin McMurray, 83, of Patriot, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Harry was born in Elizabethtown, OH on October 31, 1942, a son of the late Ida Belle (Griffin) Eversole and James Owen McMurray. His brother Anthony and his sister Amelia Frances completed the family. Harry operated his own tree trimming service for many years and was very talented at his job. He climbed and sawed like a man half his age. Harry was a true outdoorsman and liked to fish, hunt and shoot his guns. He also enjoyed working on cars and sitting down to watch a favorite old western. Going out to eat a good meal is something Harry always looked forward to. Harry lost his beloved wife, Patricia Ruth (Cunningham) McMurray on January 4th, 2020.  Harry and Patty were married several years and he loved her children and grandchildren as his own.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at New Liberty Cemetery in East Enterprise, IN. Memorial donations may be made to New Liberty Cemetery. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
