Herman Douglas "Doug" Peelman

Herman Douglas "Doug" Peelman, 65, of Switzerland County, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at The Waters of Dillsboro in Dillsboro, Indiana. Doug was born in Cincinnati, OH on February 19, 1956, a son of the late Gladys (Walton) and Warren  Peelman. Doug attended school in Vevay and was employed as a mechanic at the U.S. Shoe Factory. Doug enjoyed riding and tinkering with motorcycles, camping, and traveling.

Doug is survived by his cousins, Pansy (Don) Covington of Vevay, IN and Carol Sublett of  Vevay, IN, as well as many other cousins, and longtime friend, Rob Bullock of Vevay, IN. Services to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, checks made payable to Markland Funeral Home.
