James Michael Moore, 53, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away Monday, January 5th, 2026 at his home. James was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on March 28, 1972, a son of Allyson Schleicher of Rising Sun, IN. He worked in the Auto Service Center of Wal-Mart. James was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds and Baltimore Ravens. He had a soft spot for animals, especially his little dog "Grizzy". Spending his free time with his family that loved and adored him is what he cherished most.
James is survived by his mother, Allyson Schleicher and his dad Jeff Schleicher, of Rising Sun, IN; by his soulmate, Leslie Hopkins, of Ft. Mitchell, KY; by his beloved daughter, Olivia Moore, of Ft. Mitchell, KY; by his step son, Draco Hopkins, of Ft. Mitchell, KY; by his sister, Amanda Blanton (Tim), of Greendale, IN; by his uncle and aunt, Alan & Sharon Shaffer, of Cincinnati, OH; by his sister-in-law, Melanie Parm, of Walton, KY; by his mother-in-law, Sharon Pence, of Walton, KY and by many cousins, nieces, nephews and a great nephew.
Services for James will be held at a later date at the family's convenience. Memorial donations may be made to Cincinnati Children's Hospital in support of autism research. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
