Janet Ruth (Robinson) Holder

Janet Ruth (Robinson) Holder, of Rising Sun, IN was born to Ruth Martin and Andy Robinson on April 20, 1943. A caring, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she departed from this world on January 24, 2021 at the age of 77.

A few of her favorite activities included spending time with her family and friends, decorating for holidays, collecting lighthouses, travelling the world, and watching Agatha Christie, Julie Andrews and Rick Steves. Janet will be remembered most for her kind heart and love that could light up any room.

She is survived by her spouse Garry Holder of Rising Sun, daughter April (Steve) Stewart, step-daughter Tonya (Paul) Koons of Patriot, grandchildren Jake (Holly) Koons of Lawrenceburg, Kale Stewart, Morgan (Kent) Eads of Maui, Hawaii, great-grandchildren Heidi and Kylee, brother Terry (Karen) Robinson of Rising Sun and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
A celebration of life for Janet Ruth Holder will be held at the Rising Sun Historical Museum on February 13th.
She was a light in our lives, so we will be having a celebration of her life on earth, as she is celebrating eternal life in heaven.

Celebration of Life Details:

Saturday, February 13th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
There will be a memorial service at 3:30 PM, with dinner for the family immediately following.
