Janie Faye (Sigmon) Ammons

Janie Faye Ammons passed away May 7, 2020. She was surrounded by family when she lost her final battle with lung and brain cancer. She is being cremated and laid to rest in Rising Sun, Indiana. There will be no funeral services per her wishes. She was an amazing woman. She did so much for her grandchildren and it’s something they will never forget. She cared so much for those around her. She’s met a lot of people throughout her life from auctions, yard sales, bingo nights and more. She never would shy away from making a new friend or getting a smile out of someone. She had a passion and love for everything she did and always tried to help who she could and always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; daughter Melissa; grandson William; brothers Mike and Denny; parents Gladys and Robert; and step father Edwin. She was survived by her daughter Shandy and her husband Nathan; her loving pugs Chunky and Penelopea; her partner Jamie; sister Judy and her husband Cecil; granddaughters Victoria, Hannah, Katarina and Heavenly; grandson Braxton; great grandchildren Ezra, Serenity, Keegan, Micayla, and Kaelan; nieces Kimberly and Belinda; and many other family members.
