Jeremy Dale Knigga

Jeremy Dale Knigga, 43, of Bear Branch, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. Jeremy was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on December 23, 1976, a son of Connie  Jo (Brown) Swinney, of Osgood, IN and Ricky  Lee Knigga, of Bear Branch, IN. Jeremy grew up in Ohio County and attended Rising Sun High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Nelson Stark Company in Cincinnati, OH. Jeremy was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bear Branch and a former member of the Bear Branch Volunteer Fire Department. Jeremy enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley. He also liked trucks, the bigger the better. He loved farming with his grandpa and spending as much time as he could on the tractor. Jeremy was so proud of his daughter Carlee and cherished their Daddy-Daughter date nights.
Jeremy is survived by his daughter, Carlee Renee Knigga, of Lawrenceburg, IN; by his father & stepmother, Rick & Vanessa Knigga, of Bear Branch, IN; by his mother and stepfather, Connie Jo & Roger Swinney, of Osgood, IN; by his fiancee, Amber Elder, of Versailles, IN; by grandmothers, Donna Ketenbrink, of Bear Branch, IN and Sharon Harlow, of Rising Sun, IN; by four sisters, Jessica Trueblood, of Madison, IN; Jamie Ortiz (Pablo), of Pleasant, IN; Sarah Cutter (Norman), of Bear Branch, IN and Angela Swinney, of Osgood, IN; by three brothers, Shane Housemyer, of Bear Branch, IN; Jesse Housemyer, of Aurora, IN; Roger Swinney, Jr. (Ashley), of Versailles, IN and by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Phoebe. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, William & Nana Kirkpatrick and Ervin & Hilda Knigga; by grandparents, Carl Knigga, Robert & Pearl Brown and Ralph Harlow.
 
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, February 15th at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bear Branch, IN. Friends are invited to call Saturday 11AM-2PM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
