JoAnn Christine Niccum

JoAnn Christine Niccum, 50, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 5:29  PM, Sunday, October 17th, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital, Edgewood, KY. JoAnn was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on October 27, 1970, a daughter of the late Patricia (Hizer) Demaree and Ronnie Hess. She was a graduate of the Rising Sun High School Class of 1988. On March 31, 2001, she was married to Kenny Niccum. JoAnn was a stay at home mom and cared for many members of the family. JoAnn greatly enjoyed animals and shopping and loved spending time with her grandson and her friends.

JoAnn is survived by her husband, Kenny Niccum of Rising Sun, IN; daughters Ashley Keith of Milan, IN and Samantha Keith of Rising Sun, IN; brothers Timmy Hess (Deborah) of Bear Branch, IN and Dennis Hess of Batesville, IN; and grandson Auden Rohrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother David Hess and sisters Susan Hess and Kimberly Hess.

A public visitation will be held Friday, October 22nd from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Markland Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, October 22nd,  at 1 PM with Eldon Fancher officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
