John Leon Sebree

John Leon Sebree, 62, of Vevay, IN, passed away at 10:30 PM, Tuesday, August 1st, at his residence with his beloved family around him. John was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on June 1, 1961, a son of the late Doris (Boggs) Richardson and John Albert Sebree. John attended school and was raised in Switzerland County. John proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed as a machine operator. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a martial arts enthusiast and practiced karate for over 20 years. On May 17, 2002, he was married to Connie (Miller). They were married for over 20 years until his passing.

In addition to his wife Connie Sebree of Vevay, IN, John is survived by sons John Shane Sebree, of Vevay, IN and Cody Sebree, of Vevay, IN; stepson Jeremy Williamson, of Sparta, KY; stepdaughter Jessica Chapman of Vevay, IN; brothers Steve Sebree of Moorefield, IN and Roger Sebree (Karen) of Rising Sun, IN; sisters Vickie Chandler of East Enterprise, IN and Tabitha Sebree of Vevay, IN; 10 grandchildren; as well as several  nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by brother James Sebree and sisters Judith Brown and Sherry S. Dunn.

A public visitation will be held Tuesday, August 8th 11 AM - 1 PM at the Markland Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, August 8th at 1 PM with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
