Justin Wayne Chapman

Justin Wayne Chapman, 39, of Walton, KY, passed away on Friday, August 29th, 2025. 
Justin was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on August 10, 1986, a son of Tabitha Sebree of Vevay, IN and the late Terry Wayne Chapman. He was a graduate of Gallatin County High School, Class of 2005. Justin was athletic and played basketball during his high school days. Justin proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He worked for sometime as a car salesman, a job he really liked. Justin enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.  He also loved animals and enjoyed the company of his pet ferrets. 

Justin is survived by his mother, Tabitha Sebree (Ray Sandlin) of Vevay, IN; by his children, Alivya,  Ella Joy and Eli Jacob; by his stepmother, Beth Chapman, of Rising Sun, IN; by his grandmother, Patsy Chapman, of Rising Sun, IN; by his brothers, Loren Chapman (Gwen Huff), of Rising Sun, IN and Joe Walston (Traci), of East Enterprise, IN and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Chapman and by his brother, Adam Chapman.
 

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 5th, 2025 at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Friday, September 5th, 2025 at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  A dinner will follow graveside services at the home of Ray Sandlin. Memorial donations may be made to the family. marklandfuneralhome.com
