Kenneth Abe Griffin

Kenneth Abe Griffin, 69, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away on Friday, November 1st, 2024 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Kenny was born in Madison, IN on September 16, 1955, a son of the late LaVetta (Bowling) Griffin and Abe  Griffin. He was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1973. He was the husband of Connie J. (Luke) Griffin. Kenny and Connie were married on April 8, 1989. Kenny retired in 2018 from the Helena Chemical company where he worked as a truck driver. He also formerly worked for the Dearborn County Highway Department and Laughery Valley AG. Kenny loved being on the creek at his camp "Valley of the Unconcerned" where he enjoyed playing horseshoes and listening to good bluegrass music with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Connie Griffin, of Dillsboro, IN; by his daughter, Hannah Atkins (Josh), of Dillsboro, IN; by his sister, Linda Griffin, of Lawrenceburg, IN; by two brothers, John Griffin, of Richmond, IN and Greg Griffin, of Rising Sun, IN and by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, by his brother, Larry Griffin and by his sister-in-law, Deborah Griffin.
 

A Celebration of Life for Kenny will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family with the funds being used towards the purchase of wheelchair accessible van for his daughter Hannah.
