Kenneth White Obituary

Kenneth Gayle "Kenny" White, 70, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Kenny was born in Batesville, IN on November 13, 1955, a son of the late Frances "Fanny" (Poling) White and Gerald "Bush"  White. Kenny grew up in Ohio County and was a 1973 graduate of Rising Sun High School. Kenny proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion. He was also a member of the Aurora Moose Lodge. Kenny married Patty Yelton (Davies) White on October 6, 2001. Kenny and Patty were married over 20 years until her passing in 2022. Kenny was a heavy equipment operator at Dave O'Mara Contractors. He also worked for several years for McAlister Excavating and LMS Construction. He was known for his expertise at operating machinery. Kenny liked being outdoors and to go fishing. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. Kenny also enjoyed bowling and shooting pool. Kenny always had an appreciation for cars and took immaculate care of his. 

Kenny is survived by his son, Dustin White; by his daughters, Nikki White and Michaela White, by his grandchildren: Sydney, Cash, Jayden, Chloey, Maddie and Addy; by his great granddaughter Evelynn; by his step son, Skyler Yelton; by his step daughter, Summer DeHamer and by his step grandchildren: Carter, William, Brooks, Ellanor, Sophia, Ethan, Kyleigh and Maggie. Kenny  is also survived by his sister, Diana Bowling (Brian); by his brother, Ed White (Donna); by his sister-in-law, Yolanda White and by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Kenny was preceded by his parents, Bush & Fanny White; by his wife, Patty Yelton White; by his brother, Robert "Bobby" White and by his niece, Sallie White.
 
Graveside services with military honors will be 11 AM, Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at the Rising Sun New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Welcome Home Warriors. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family
