Leon Nelson Romans

Leon Nelson Romans, 86, of Aurora, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN. Leon was born in Patriot, IN on October 3, 1939, a son of the late Cynthia Geneva (Minks) Romans and Stanley Nelson Romans. Leon retired from Setco Sales in Cincinnati, OH where he worked as a machinist. He was also employed for several years at Cummins in Columbus, IN. Leon had an appreciation for vintage cars and was also a NASCAR fan. 

Leon is survived by his wife, Patty (Koons) Romans, of Aurora, IN; by his two daughters, Deborah Romans, of Aurora, IN and Shelly Plyman and husband Kevin, of Patriot, IN; by his granddaughter, Casey Michelle Romans and by a brother, Douglas Romans.
 
It was Leon's wishes that no public services be held. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
