Linda Kay (Beutel) Mace

Linda Kay (Beutel) Mace, 73, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 8:59  PM, Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn in Lawrenceburg, IN. Linda was born in Switzerland County, IN on October 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Barbara (Dunning) Beutel and Earl  Beutel. She was a graduate of Patriot High School.  Linda was employed at the Vevay Shoe Factory for several years and later worked as a cook at the Courtyard Restaurant in Rising Sun. Cooking was something Linda really enjoyed along with gardening and tending to her flowers. She also liked going to yard sales and fishing. Linda was a member of the Rising Sun Church of Christ and the Rising Sun American Legion Auxiliary. Linda married Raymond A. Mace on October 18, 1997. Ray and Linda were married over 24 years until her passing. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandma who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Linda is survived her husband, Ray Mace, of Rising Sun, IN; by her sons, Sid Robinson, of Kentucky, Larry Robinson, of Rising Sun, IN and David Holmes (Stephanie), of Fairview, IN; by her daughter, Traci Walston (Joe), of East Enterprise, IN; by her grandchildren, Landon, Makenzie, Grace, Natalie and Josh and by 2 great grandchildren, Kaisley and London. Linda is also survived by two sisters, Donna Martin, of Vevay, IN and  JoAnn Rayls (Robin), of Rising Sun, IN and by a brother, James Beutel, of Rising Sun, IN.  
 
Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 16th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Brother Don Thomason officiating.
