Lloyd "Tommy" Chapman

Lloyd Thomas "Tommy" Chapman, Jr., 82, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away Sunday, September 29th, at his residence. Lloyd was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on August 3, 1937, a son of the late Florence (Struckman) Chapman and Lloyd Thomas Chapman, Sr.. Lloyd attended school until the 8th grade in Patriot, IN. He spent the majority of his working career employed at Knigga Feed Mill and later in his life worked for the Ohio County Highway Department. He had a passion for old cars and enjoyed collecting knives. On November 15, 1958 he was married to Patsey Shaver.

In addition to his loving wife, Lloyd is survived by son Terry (Beth) Chapman of Rising Sun, IN, daughters Gayla (Terry) Stephenson of Rising Sun IN, Anita (John) Wilber of Rising Sun, IN, and Tamara (Steve) Grace of Rising Sun, IN, sisters Linda (Garold) Niccum of Versailles, IN, Nancy (Bill) Jones of Milan, IN, and Rosemary Chapman of Milan, IN, 10 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Chapman, and grandson Adam Coy Chapman.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, October 4th, 2019 at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Thursday October 3rd, 2019 at Markland Funeral Home.
