Michael Todd Snider

Michael Todd Snider, 64, of Aurora, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at his home. Todd was born in Greenfield, IN on January 30, 1962, a son of the late Constance Ann "Connie" (Ubelhor) Snider and Floyd R. Snider. He was a 1980 graduate of South Dearborn High School. Todd went on to attend Ball State University and was also a Merchant Marine for a period of time.  Todd worked in customer service for Alton Box, which became Smurfit Stone and finally Rock-Tenn. He retired in 2019 after 34 years of service. Todd was a people person and very active in the community. He was a long time member of the Aurora Eagles and held many offices over the years. Todd was also a member of the Aurora Moose Lodge, the Aurora American Legion and the Rising Sun American Legion. Todd was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He loved his time spent on the farm and had an affection for animals, especially his dogs.

Todd is survived by his daughter, Brandi Coy (James), of Rising Sun, IN;  by his granddaughter, Bristol; by his brothers, Troy  R. Snider (Sandra Miller), of Cincinnati, OH and Tim W. Snider (Heather), of Aurora, IN and by his special friend, Darla Kaiser, of Aurora, IN.
 
Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Aurora Eagles or the Ohio County Animal Shelter.
