Monica L. (Miller) Curry

Monica L. Curry, 58, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 at Mercy Health- West in Cincinnati, OH. Monica was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on February 22, 1961, a daughter of the late Esther Alma (White) and Harry E. Miller. She grew up in the Rising Sun community and attended school there. Monica married Allen D. Curry on April 23, 1977 in Aurora, IN at the Church of Christ. Monica and Allen were married over 42 years until her passing. Monica was a homemaker most of her life but did work as a dietary aide at Dillsboro Manor for a few years. Monica enjoyed camping and doing all types of crafts. Spending time with her grandchildren is what she loved most. Monica is  survived by her loving husband, Allen Curry, of Dillsboro, IN; by her sons, Michael Curry and wife Cristy, of Moores Hill, IN; Benjamin Curry and wife Tami, of Quercus Grove, IN and Mark Curry and wife Tiffany, of Moores Hill, IN; by her grand children: Bryce, Kane(Kiely), Jazmyn, Hunter, Alexis and Kyla. Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Esther Miller and by her brother, Michael Miller.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 18th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Rev. David Fogle officiating. Friends are invited to call Friday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
