Nancy Jane (Andrews) Irrgang

Nancy Jane (Andrews) Irrgang, 66, of Rising Sun, IN passed away on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones and fur babies. Nancy was born in Hamilton, OH on November 18, 1954, a daughter of Wilford D. Andrews and the late Edna Elizabeth (Smith) Andrews. She was a graduate of North Dearborn High School, Class of 1972. Nancy worked as a Dental Assistant for 39 years in Lawrenceburg, IN, first for Dr. Ford until his retirement in 1997 and then for Dr. Oyler. Nancy formerly attended St. John's United Church in Harrison where she was very active, serving as deaconess and board  member until failing health prevented her attendance. Nancy married Donald R. Irrgang on September 14, 1991. Nancy and Don were married over 29 years until her passing. Nancy is  survived by her loving husband, Donald Irrgang, of Rising Sun, IN; by her father, Wilford "Bill" Andrews, of Greensburg, IN; by a son, Benjamin Irrgang, of Rising Sun, IN; by two daughters, Stephanie  Irrgang, of Seminole, FL and Stacy Irrgang, of Palmetto, FL; by grandchildren, Ellie, Brayden, Shay, Ava and Ella;  by three brothers, Robert Andrews (Debra), of Brookville, IN;  Charles "Chuck" Andrews (Betty), of Lawrenceburg, IN and Richard Andrews (Barb), of Greendale, IN. She is also survived by her beloved pups, Buddy, Brent & Boone. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Elizabeth Andrews in 1997 and by her sister, Carol Sue Smith in 2017.
 
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, July 13th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 12th at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Margaret Mary Home Hospice. marklandfuneralhome.com
