Patricia A. Courter

Patricia A. Courter, 77, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Patricia was born in Rising Sun, IN on December 29, 1945, a daughter of the late Hazel Eva (Thomas) Ryan and Lucian Thomas Courter. She was a 1964 graduate of North Dearborn High School. Patricia worked as a sales manager at the John Hancock Insurance Company and also for Nationwide Insurance. Patricia is survived by four sisters, Loretta Mounce, of Greendale, IN;  Erma Connor, of Vevay, IN;  Linda Elam, of Lawrenceburg, IN and Christine Stewart, of Trenton, OH; by her brother, Larry Courter, of Florence, IN and by several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her close friend, Christine Brock, of Lawrenceburg, IN. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12th at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
