Peggy Ann (Gardner) Bross

Peggy  Ann Bross, 66, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022. Peggy  was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 4, 1955, a daughter of Mary (Becker) Gardner and the late John Gardner. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School, Class of 1973. Peggy worked as a project analyst for Federated Department Stores and was also former head of payroll for St. Francis and St. George Hospitals. She was the wife of Gary A. Bross. They were married on June 9, 1979 in Cleves, Ohio. Peggy and Gary were married 43 years until her passing. Peggy battled MS for several years and was instrumental in organizing a MS support group. Peggy and Gary also participated in the MS Walkathon many times and other fund raising events over the years. Peggy was a true fighter.

In addition to her loving husband Gary, Peggy  is survived by her mother, Mary Gardner, of Cincinnati, OH; by her step son,Kelly Bross, of Harrison, OH; by her granddaughter, Reni; by her sister, Debbie Gardner, of Columbus, OH and by her caregiver of over 27 years, Faith Wood. She was preceded in death by her father John Gardner and her brother Tom Gardner.
 

Graveside Services will be 11 AM, Monday, June 27th at the Rising Sun New Cemetery with Eldon Fancher officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the MS Foundation. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family. marklandfuneralhome.com
