Peggy Jo (Brandenburg) Isaacs

Peggy Jo Isaacs, 84, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at The Waters of Dillsboro/Ross Manor in Dillsboro, IN. Peggy was born in Fosters, OH on January 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Lena (Amburgy) and Hugh  Brandenburg. Peggy retired from General Motors in Norwood, OH where she worked on the assembly line. Peggy enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and doing crafts. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler. Peggy also loved to sew and attended an industrial sewing school in Cincinnati.

Peggy is  survived by two daughters, Patricia Garrison(David), of Englewood, FL and Pamela Manning(John), of Homosassa, FL; by a son, Darryl Anson Isaacs, of Rising Sun, IN; by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Peggy is also survived by four sisters, Joyce Jufer(John), of Golden, MO;  June Purcell(Ed), of Loveland, OH;  Phyllis Price(Bob), of Maineville, OH and Judy Gore(Phil), of Lebanon, OH; by two brothers, James Brandenburg (Brenda), of Sarasota, FL and  Fred  Brandenburg, of Peebles, OH.   Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Vernon Isaacs in 2004, by her son Vernon Douglas Isaacs in 1993 by her granddaughter Deja Morris in 2013 and by her brother, Thomas Brandenburg.
