Rebecca Maxine (Roland) Dilts

Rebecca Maxine Dilts, 94, of Westfield, IN (formerly of Rising Sun) passed away on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. Rebecca was born in Pleasant, IN on March 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Nettie (Vandergrift) and Neat  Roland. She grew up in Switzerland County, IN and was a 1944 graduate of Vevay High School. Rebecca later went on to receive her degree in nursing. Rebecca married Billie Bob Dilts on March 22, 1947. Becky and Bill were married over 65 years until his passing on December 15th, 2012. While Becky lived in Rising Sun, she was a faithful member of the Rising Sun United Methodist Church and belonged to the United Methodist Women Organization. She was also a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority. Becky's life revolved around her family. She was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma and friend to many.

Rebecca is  survived by a daughter, Kathy Taylor (Jim), of Edmond, OK;  by three sons: Denny Dilts (Mona), of Indianapolis, IN; Mark Dilts (Shawn), of Bloomington, IN and Brent Dilts (Dee), of Carmel, IN; by 12 grandchildren: Philip Kaczmarek, Lori Stahl, Scott Taylor, Jeremy Dilts, Jacqueline Dilts, Trent Dilts, Chastin Davis, Stewart Dilts, Eric Dilts, Deanna Dilts, David Dilts and Laila Dilts; by 15 great-grandchildren, Rebecca Stahl, Michael Kaczmarek, Lindsey Stahl, Kamryn Dilts, Hunter Dilts, Eli Dilts, Kennedy Schwartz, Adelynn Davis, Raelynn Davis, Aidan Taylor, Marley Taylor, Lacey Taylor, Ashlynn Davis, Gunner Davis and Tatum Dilts. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Bill, by her brother Ray Roland and by sisters, Josephine Hickman and Nellie Johnson.  

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM. Monday, November 2nd at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
