Robert Nolen Blake, 85, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away July 6, 2026, at The Waters of Rising Sun. Robert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Raleigh and Betty (Brockman) Blake. Robert was raised in the Cincinnati area. After completing his education, he went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he was employed as a security officer for several years.  

Robert is survived by his sons Michael and Jeffery Blake of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister Donna Long of Illinois; as well as several nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Raleigh and Betty Blake, and brothers Daniel and Victor Ray Blake. 

Robert is to be interred at the “Soldier’s Field” in Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, Indiana.
