Ronald Gene Beach

Ronald Gene Beach, 89, of Rising Sun, IN passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Ronald was born in Dearborn County, IN on September 8, 1936, a son of the late Hazel (Liggett) Beach. He joined the Air Force and served our country during the Korean War. He took pride in being a Veteran and was an active member for many years of the American Legion. After military service he began his career as an automotive mechanic working primarily in South Western Ohio. He enjoyed working in his vegetable gardens and always grew surplus to share with others. This led to his interest in canning, cooking and baking. Many benefited from his hobby of making homemade candy that he gave as gifts. Upon retirement he and Julia Smith enjoyed boating and traveling to visit many regions of the United States. Car trips became a favorite pastime. He never hesitated when situations arose and he filled the role of caregiver. Ronald held quiet pride for his family and will be missed.

Ronald is survived by four daughters; Debbie Denning (Joe) of Pekin, IL, Denise Elder (Kevin) of Dillsboro, IN, Deanna Beach of Aurora, IN, Dolly Cole (Daniel) of Aurora, IN and by his son, Rodney Beach (Raynell) of Aurora, IN, by grandchildren: Sara Cole, Joseph Denning (Jennifer), Cory Elder (Becca), Joe Cole (Shelby), Matthew Denning (Rachel), Devin Busse (Brad), by step grandchildren; Niki Sohmer (Robert), Jenny Wise, Cory Selmeyer (Denise), by great grandchildren; Rhett, Elliott, Oliver, Sadie, Addie, Luke, by step great grandchildren; Jace, Sean, Gracie and Christian. Ronald is survived by two sisters, Patricia Kinnett (Gary) and Linda Lamkin and by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
 
Services for Ronald will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Rising Sun American Legion Post 59. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
