Ronald Gene Hannah

Ronald Gene Hannah, 79, of New Smyrna Beach, FL (formerly of Ohio County), passed away on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 at the Port Orange Nursing & Rehab Center. Ronald was born in Milan, IN on June 2, 1943, a son of the late Marcella (Detmer) Hannah and Austin Harold Hannah. He grew up on the family farm in Ohio County where he attended Cass Union Grade School and was a 1961 graduate of Rising Sun High School. He served his country in the US Air Force Reserves for a period of time. Ronald worked at Cummins in Columbus, IN for several years. He enjoyed car racing and later on began running and participated in marathons. Ronald is survived by a son, Robert Dale Hannah (Beth), of Rising Sun, IN and by a daughter, Sandra Lynn Graff (Frank), of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Tyler Hannah, Macy Hannah, Connor Hannah, Mike Graff & Logan Graff and by three great grandchildren; Paisley, Makenzie & Nolan.
 
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, October 7th, 2022 at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Tom Work officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7th at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
