Rondall "Fred" Henderson

Rondall “Fred” Lynn Henderson, 57, of Patriot, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Rondall was born on September 2, 1968 in Lawrenceburg, IN, a son of the late Willie B. and Helen Louise (James) Henderson. He attended school at Madison Consolidated and went on to have a longtime career as a soft count for Grand Victoria and Rising Star Casino, making many memories over the years with his coworkers. He additionally worked at the turkey factory in Harrison, OH, Fryman’s Junkyard in Rising Sun, IN, and did farming and other labor tasks for Freddy Taylor and Earl Buethel. Rondall enjoyed spending his time tinkering on cars and watching old movies and listening to old music. Most of all, he enjoyed the company of his beloved family and friends and spending time together. 

Rondall is survived by four kids, Bruce Harding, Victoria Clifton, Kenny Clifton, and Jon Clifton; grandchildren Markie Clifton and Freddy Henderson, who he raised as his own, as well as six additional grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings Denver Henderson and Chrisitina of Independence, KY, Carl Henderson of Patriot, IN, Robert Henderson of Patriot, IN, Darrell Henderson of Richmond, IN, Roseann “Rosie” Owens and Robert “Peppy” of Patriot, IN, Sue Cunningham and Clinton of Florence, IN, and Wilma Ollman and John of Florence, IN; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, having a special bond with all of the kids in the family he was around. 

Rondall was preceded in death by his parents Willie B. and Helen Louise Henderson; brother Donald “Farmer” Henderson; and sister Anna Henderson.

Services for Rondall will be held Friday, October 10th at the Markland Funeral Home, visitation 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, funeral 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Cedar Hedge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist.
